Reordering the display order of sections on your syllabus is as easy as clicking and dragging. A separate window is provided so that you can preview the new order before confirming the change.
How to Reorder Sections on Your Syllabus
- Click Syllabus Builder under Content Tools on the main faculty tools page.
- Click Reorder Sections at the top of the page. A window listing all the sections will appear.

Use the drag handle
to click and drag a section to a new position on the list. -
Continue to do this with other sections until you're satisfied with the new order.

Click Save Order.
Note: If you no longer want to reorder the sections, click the X in the top right corner of the reorder window. No changes will be saved.
Note: The Why Take This Course section always follows the Course Description section. The Methods of Assessment Details section always follows the Methods of Assessment section. The Student Health and Well-Being and Students with Disabilities - Accommodations and Accessibility sections always appear at the end of a syllabus. This cannot be changed.
