You can control when students have access to items in the Online Library by adding open or close dates (or both) to specific files and folders. If you add an Open Date to a file or folder, students will not have access to or see that item until the specific open date. If you add a Close Date to a file or folder, students will not have access to or see that item after the specific close date.
Students will not see files that are hidden due to using an open or close date in the student view of the Online Library. These files are also not included in the ZIP file download of all files in the Online Library while they are hidden from student view.
Important: If you add an open or close date to a folder, all items in the folder use that same open or close date. You may specify open or close dates for individual items in a folder, but those dates are overridden by an open or close date set on the folder itself.
