The Report on Student Views of Lectures by Time report provides information on when students access lectures in the course.
How to See Student Views of Lectures by Time
- Navigate to the Faculty Tools page in your course site.
- Find Administrative Tools > Student Activity Reports.
- Under Lecture/Content Access, click Requests for lecture material ("hits") by time.
The first view in the report is a bar graph concerning days of the week. Hovering over a bar shows the exact number of requests across all students in the course.
- Y-axis: The total number of requests across all students in the course.
- X-axis: The day of the week.
The second view in the report is another bar graph concerning hours of the day. Hovering over a bar shows the exact number of requests across all students in the course.
- Y-axis: The total number of requests across all students in the course.
- X-axis: The time of day (by the hour).
The last view in the report is a list of the top ten busiest hours for requesting lecture material in the course. The list shows the most popular combinations of days and times.
How to Export Student Views of Lectures by Time to Excel
- On the main Faculty Tools page in your course site, find Administrative Tools > Student Activity Reports.
- Under Lecture/Content Access, click Requests for lecture material ("hits") by time.
- Click Excel above the graph you want to export.
