Successfully executing a Peer Assessment involves multiple phases. Below is a checklist that lays out the major steps to ensure each phase goes smoothly. Though there are other options and features within the Peer Assessments tool, below are the critical steps that must be followed for any assessment.
Peer Assessment Checklist
Setup Phase
- Determine the type of assessment you will use.
- Create a new assessment, or copy an existing one.
- Set up the rubric for the assessment.
- Link the assessment to the schedule and/or a page.
Student Phase
- Allow students to complete their assignments.
Finalization Phase
- Review the results, including adding faculty feedback (if applicable).
- Email final results of the assessment.
