How to Attach Files as Feedback for All Students via a Zip File Upload
It's vastly faster to upload a zip file of graded files for students in the class than it is to select individual files for individual students one at a time. This feature is most helpful when downloading a zip of student submissions from a course drop box. The Drop Box tool will automatically name files in such a way that it's easy for CoursePlus to match the right file to the right student in the Gradebook.
- Select Enter Grades on any page in the Gradebook.
- Select the graded item for which you wish to enter feedback.
- Select the Feedback Options dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select Upload Zip of Graded Files.
- Select Choose File to select the zip file from your computer. Be sure that you read and follow the zip file guidelines included in the instructions.
- Select Upload Zip.
- If there are uploaded files that did not match student names in the class, you will be asked to manually link these files to students.
- Select Save. Files are assigned to their respective students.
To remove file feedback, select the trash can icon beside the feedback. There is no option to remove all file-based feedback at once.
Note: The file size limit for zip files is 200 MB.
How to Attach a File as Feedback for an Individual Student
- Select Enter Grades on any page in the Gradebook.
- Select the graded item for which you wish to enter feedback.
- Select the Upload File (document) icon for the individual student for whom you wish to upload file feedback.
- Select Choose File.
- Select the file from your computer.
- Select Save Feedback.
To remove individual file feedback, click the trash can icon beside the feedback.
Note: Entering feedback does not immediately send feedback to students. You must still send the feedback to the student.
