How to Provide Rubric-Based Feedback to Individual Students
- Go into the Enter Grades view and select the graded item you wish to give feedback on.
- Under the Feedback header, click the Complete Rubric Response button, which is represented by a list icon.
- For each criteria, select the desired level of performance, which automatically applies the appropriate number of points. Please note that you may also manually enter a certain number of points, such as "2.5" instead of just "2" or "3."
- For each criteria, also enter optional comments in the Explain your choice box.
- Add overall comments at the end via the Additional comments and feedback box.
- Click Complete once you have filled out the entire form, or click Save Progress if you are not fully done grading.
- Click Send Email if you wish to inform an individual student of their grade, or click Email All at the top of the page to send all of the feedback at once.
Note: Entering feedback does not immediately send feedback to students. You must still send the feedback to the student.
