When you create a wiki, there are a number of options which give you control over the access to and functionality of the wiki.
Wiki Settings Options
Title of Wiki — Title as displayed to both you and students.
Read/Write Access — You can grant students read access or both read and write access to a wiki. Students are automatically given read access when write access is set. Learn more about managing wiki read and write access.
Wiki Open Date — This optional setting allows a wiki to remain closed to students until a certain date and time.
Wiki Close Date — This optional setting allows a wiki to close to students on a certain date and at a certain time. Students can no longer read from or write to a wiki after this date.
Note: If a wiki has an open and/or close date, that information appears in the "My Calendar" tab when students sign into CoursePlus and appears in the daily course notifications email sent from CoursePlus.
Comments — Select to either enable or disable the ability to leave comments on wiki pages. This feature is useful if you would like to have students work on their wiki assignments first and then later open it up for discussion by allowing the entire class to comment. In order to add comments, students need at least read access to the wiki even if this option is enabled.
Finished/Unfinished Wiki Notification — By default, the instructional team will receive email notifications every time a wiki is marked/unmarked finished. If you don't want to be notified, select this option to disable these notifications.
