Wikis: Hide a Wiki from Student View

A hidden wiki is available for use in the current course offering by faculty and TAs, but it's not visible to students. You might want to hide wikis from the student view if you are setting up multiple copies of the same wiki, or if you have wikis in your class that you no longer want students to see. All hidden wikis are in the Hidden Wikis section at the bottom of the All Course Wikis page.

How to Hide a Wiki from Student View

1. Click Wikis under Communication Tools on the main Faculty Tools page.
2. From the main Course Wikis page, click Hide Wiki under Faculty Actions for the appropriate wiki.
3. Click OK to hide the wiki.

How to Un-hide/Reveal a Wiki

1. Click Wikis under Communication Tools on the main Faculty Tools page.
2. Scroll down to the Hidden Wikis section at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Reveal Wiki under Faculty Actions for the appropriate wiki.
