Signup Sheets allow students to sign up for events, groups, research topics, or even office hours. Signup Sheets can be automatically converted to course groups and work with other tools that also use groups. The uses are limitless.
There are three types of Signup Sheets:
- Simple Signup Sheet
- Time Slot-based Signup Sheet
- Group of Signup Sheets

All sheets have open and close dates so that the teaching team can control when students sign up. At any point, the teaching team can see who has (and has not) signed up, send a reminder message to students to sign up on a sheet, or add students to a Signup Sheet. There is even an option to export all of the Signup Sheets in a course to Excel.
Students can add or remove themselves from a Signup Sheet, or sign up their entire course group (if the setting has been enabled). Additionally, students can add comments when signing up. The open/close dates of Signup Sheets appear in students’ My Calendar view as well as the "Daily Course Notifications" email.
