Deleting a file submission may be needed if a student submitted the wrong file to a Drop Box. Once you delete their submission, the student can then resubmit the correct file if the Drop Box has the following options enabled:
- Resubmittable
- Allow submissions after the deadline
How to Delete a Student File Submission
- Go to the main Course Drop Box page.
- Click the View Submissions button (inbox icon) in the row of the desired assignment.
- Click the Delete button in the Actions column for the appropriate student.
- Click the Delete File button to confirm the deletion. To cancel the deletion, click Cancel.
If the file submission is deleted in a timed Drop Box, you also have the option of resetting the timer for the individual student.
