Anyone who has write access to a wiki can mark it as completed. When a student has marked a wiki finished, faculty and TAs will receive an email notification by default. When students unmark a wiki finished, faculty and TAs will be notified as well. If faculty and TAs unmark a finished wiki, all students with write access to that specific wiki will receive a notification. Faculty and TAs can also disable these notifications.
How to Mark a Wiki as Finished
- Click Wikis under Communication Tools on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the Mark as Finished link from the Faculty Actions column for the appropriate wiki.
- Click OK to confirm marking the wiki as finished.
How to Unmark a Wiki as Finished
- Click Wikis under Communication Tools on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the Unmark as Finished link from the Faculty Actions column for the appropriate wiki.
- Click OK to confirm unmarking the wiki as finished.
How to Disable "Wiki Finished" Notifications
- Click Wikis under Communication Tools on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click Edit Settings in the Faculty Actions column for the appropriate wiki.
- Select the Do not send an email to the instructional team (faculty, TAs, etc.) when a wiki is marked as finished / unfinished checkbox at the bottom of the page.
- Click Update Wiki Settings.
