Insert Images in the Rich Text Editor

The ability to insert images is available in most rich text editors throughout CoursePlus.

How to Insert Images in the Rich Text Editor

1. Navigate to the text box inside the tool you are working in.
2. Select the Insert/Upload Image button, represented by a photo icon.
3. In the Insert Image popup that appears, select Choose File. 
4. Select the photo from your device to upload. 
   • Accepted file types are .jpg, .gif, .jpeg, .png, or .webp.
5. Use the slider to crop your image. You can also click and drag in the picture window to move the crop.
6. Select Crop to save the cropped photo.

7. In the Description/ALT Text box, enter an appropriate description of the photo. ALT text is required unless the photo is decorative.
   • If the photo is decorative, select the checkbox for This image is decorative.
8. Select Save to insert the image.
