Many Drop Boxes are set up so that you can resubmit your files if needed. This feature is helpful if you submitted the wrong assignment or needed to make changes to an assignment file. Resubmitting a file will overwrite the existing file.
How to Resubmit an Assignment
- Click Drop Box under the Resources dropdown menu on any course page.
- Click the Resubmit File button next to the appropriate Drop Box.
- If there is more than one assignment part, you will see an upload box for each part. Click the Pick a file... button to search for the file in the following locations:

- My Device - Allows you to select or drag a file to be submitted
- Box - Allows you to connect to your Box account to submit a file
- Dropbox - Allows you to connect to your Drop Box account to submit a file
- Google Drive - Allows you to connect to your Google Drive account to submit a file

- Repeat step 3 for each assignment part as necessary.
Once the process is complete, you will see a message that states you will receive an email confirmation of your submission shortly.
