How to Give Access to a Course Site
- Click the Add TAs, Editors, Guest Faculty, and Guests link from the Administrative Tools section of the main Faculty Tools page.
- In the Give Someone Access section, type the name of the person you want to give access in the field provided.
- Select the role you want to give from the dropdown list.
- Click Add This Person in this Role.
You can enter either the person's name or email address in the following formats:
- First name
- Last name
- Last name, First name (must have a comma to use this format)
- email@address.com (eg; jdoe@jhu.edu)
The system will automatically provide suggestions according to the information provided in the name field as long as the person has signed in to CoursePlus at least one time.
Important: If you can't find someone by typing their first or last name into the search box, that means that person has not yet signed in to CoursePlus at least one time, and needs to do so.
Note: If you are looking to add a student currently enrolled in the class as a TA to the class, you will not be able to do so. The student must drop the course in SIS before they can be added as a TA to the class.
