The Faculty Tools page is the central hub for managing your CoursePlus website. It can be accessed by selecting the Faculty Tools link in the upper-left corner of any page in your course site.
Faculty Tools page for fully online courses
The Faculty Tools page for online courses is divided into two main sections. On the left side is Navigation Tools, which is a representation of the items found on the course schedule. On the right side of the page are tools to create assignments, create course content, and get reports on student activity.
Faculty Tools page for on-campus courses
The Faculty Tools page for on-campus courses is essentially the same as online courses. On the left side is Navigation Tools, which is a representation of the items found on the course schedule. On the right side of the page are tools to create assignments, create course content, and get reports on student activity.
One function on-campus courses have that online courses do not is the ability to disable access to the site for all students by making it unavailable. If the site is made unavailable, students will still see the course listed on their "My Courses" page when they sign in to CoursePlus, but the link to access the course site will be inactive.
Quick Jump Menu on the Course Home Page
Faculty Tools Quick Jump links are located on the course home page. You can quickly jump to a specific tool by clicking the link in this section which is located on the top left side of the home page. Only the most used tools are listed. If you'd like to access the other tools, click the All Faculty Tools link at the bottom of the box.
