When you add a new simulation to a course, you're just setting up the shell of the simulation. You set options that affect the overall student experience. You must include a title. You can also enter introductory text that is shared on the first page of the simulation. Introductory text in a simulation is the information you wish to convey to students prior to their start of the simulation. This may include your instructions, background information for the scenario covered in the simulation, or any other information you wish to share prior to the start of a simulation.
You can elect to include a Start Over button at all decision points of the simulation, and you can specify a date that the simulation locks from further access. If you include a lock date for the simulation, you can also add an optional code word that allows individual access after the lock date.
