My Calendar allows you to keep track of key dates across all of your courses. Items on the calendar are denoted as either due dates, general dates, LiveTalks, or completed items. There is even a toggle to display only due dates.
There are two different views available in My Calendar:
- Month view, the default, offers a traditional calendar view. In this view, if there are many items available or due on the same day, a shortened list is displayed (prioritizing due dates and LiveTalks at the top). You can also expand the list to view all items for that day.
- List view offers a more comprehensive look at all dated items. It lists every item associated with a date all on the same page.
In either view, you can select an item to see the full details as well as a link to the associated course's schedule.
All items related to a course use the same color. Colors are randomly assigned once per course per term, so they stay consistent every time you look at the calendar. All past items are colored in gray, and the tool displays items up to two weeks prior to the current date.
How to Access My Calendar in CoursePlus
- Navigate to the CoursePlus home page.
- Select the My Calendar tab at the top of the page.
Note: Items not on a main course content page/schedule will not be displayed on this calendar. If faculty want items to appear in this calendar, those items must have representation on the main course content page/schedule.
