Page Builder: Import a Page from Another Course You Teach

You can quickly add pages to a CoursePlus site by importing them from other courses that you teach. If you want to re-use a CTL-produced lecture or an assignment description from another course, you can do that with the Import Page tool in Page Builder. The page you want to import must be from a course that you teach or TA.

Note: If you need to import a page from a course that you do not teach or TA, please contact your course instructional designer or CTL Help.

How to Import a Page from Another Course

1. Click Page Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
2. Click Import Page at the top of the page.
3. Click on the Select the offering you want to copy from menu.
4. You can scroll through the list or type in the box at the top to select the appropriate course.
5. A list of available Page Builder pages will appear.

6. Click the checkbox next to the page(s) you want to import into your course.
7. Click Import Page from Another Course.

The page is now imported into your course. You can edit that page as you see fit and the changes you make in your course will not affect the page in the other course.
