While setting up course groups, you may not want to display groups to students until all groups are set up. You can choose to not have existing groups visible to students on the student "Course Groups" page. Once all groups are created, or when you want to make them visible, you can then change the display option to make them visible to students.
Hide a Course Group from Student View
- When creating or editing a course group, select Yes for the Hide this group from the student view? option.
- If needed, fill out the rest of the form.
- Click the Save Group Setup button when done.
When the Hide from student view? option is enabled, students assigned to that group cannot see their membership in that group on the student "Course Groups" page.
