While setting up course groups, you may not want to display the groups to students until everything is finalized. You can choose to keep existing groups invisible to students on the student Course Groups page. Once all groups are created, or when you want to make them visible, you can then change the display option to make them visible to students.
Hide a Course Group from Student View
- When creating or editing a course group, select Yes for the Hide this group from the student view? option.
- If needed, fill out the rest of the form.
- Click the Save button when done.
When this option is enabled for a group, students assigned to that group cannot see their membership in that group on the student Course Groups page.
