Schedule Builder is a tool that assembles the course schedule/main Content page in a CoursePlus site. Schedule Builder powers the main Content page for fully online course sites as well as other courses that use the Schedule Builder format. Schedule Builder provides powerful tools for gating access to content and activities throughout a course.
With the use of Schedule Builder, the Content page is built from two simple building blocks: categories and events.
- Categories organize individual items on the main course Content page into logical groups (eg; "Week 1" or "Module 1: Getting Started").
- Events are the individual items that make up a course Content page. Events can link to any number of resources (Page Builder pages, quizzes, Peer Assessments, the course Drop Box, etc.) and can have dates of student access associated with them.
Together, categories and events build the course schedule into a powerful, linear listing of everything a student needs to do in a class.
