Categories organize individual items on the main course Content page into logical groups (eg; "Week 1" or "Module 1: Getting Started").
How to Add a Category in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the Add New Category button.
- Enter the Category Name.
- Click Save.
How to Edit a Category in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click Edit in the gray bar for the appropriate category.
- Edit the Category Name.
- Click Save.
How to Reorder the Display of Categories in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the up or down arrows to the right of each category to move the category as needed.
Note: When reordering categories in Schedule Builder, only the arrows for the direction in which a move is possible will appear.
How to Delete a Category in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click Delete in the gray bar for the appropriate category.
- Choose either Keep items, delete this category OR Delete category and included items.
