Events are the individual items that go onto a course Content page. Events can link to any number of resources (Page Builder pages, quizzes, Peer Assessments, the course Drop Box, etc.) and can have dates of student access associated with them.
How to Add an Event in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click Add New Event.
- Enter event details as appropriate.
- Click Save.
Note: Events tied to CTL-produced lectures must be added by CTL staff before the course team can edit them. The exception is when a Lecture page is imported into a course site.
How to Edit Events in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click on the light blue bar for the appropriate event.
- Edit event details as appropriate.
- Click Save.
How to Reorder Events in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click and drag the textured gray dots next to an event into the position you wish the event to appear on the schedule.
How to Delete an Event in Schedule Builder
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click on the light blue bar for the appropriate event.
- Click Delete.
