The biographies of faculty, guest speakers, and teaching assistants (TAs) can be added, edited, and ordered from the Faculty Page Editor tool. Biographies can also contain an image of the person. Although an image is not required, it is nice to add a picture so that students know what their faculty and TAs look like.
All biographies appear on the Syllabus > Faculty page in the class website. This page is visible to the public.
The basic process of adding someone to the faculty page is as follows:
- Create a faculty group — eg; Course Faculty, Guest Speakers, Teaching Assistants.
- Add that person to a faculty group.
You can preview the faculty page at any time to see how the page will look to students and members of the public. Select Preview Faculty Page at the top of the page to do this.
