Lecture slides are often provided in conjunction with the online lectures in CoursePlus. More often than not, these are shared via a PDF file where each slide takes up an entire page. Though this is ideal for digital viewing, students may wish to print out the slides for note-taking purposes and reduce the number of pages/ink needed to print all the slides. Below are the instructions for completing this on Mac and Windows devices.
How to Print Multiple Lecture Slides Per Page on Mac
- Open the PDF in Preview, which is the default PDF viewer on Mac.
- Go to File > Print... or press Command + P.
- Scroll down and expand the Layout options.
- For Pages per Sheet, choose how many slides you want per page.
- Adjust other settings, such as the Layout Direction or Border, as desired.
- Click Print to print out your slides with the chosen settings.
How to Print Multiple Lecture Slides Per Page on Windows
- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Go to File > Print... or press CTRL + P.
- Select your printer (if you want to print directly) or Microsoft Print to PDF if you want to create a new PDF.
- Click on the Multiple button under Page Sizing & Handling.
- For Pages per sheet, choose how many slides you want per page.
- Adjust other settings as desired.
- Click Print to print out your slides with the chosen settings.
