Quiz Generator: How to Download an Excel File of All Student Responses and Scores

Although the Quiz Generator automatically grades many question types and shows you a variety of statistics about student performance in a quiz, it can still be useful to download quiz response and scoring data to Excel for further analysis.

Note: Making changes in the Excel file of all student responses and scores does not change anything in CoursePlus. There is no way to upload an Excel file with scores for a quiz into the Quiz Generator.

 

How to Download an Excel File of All Student Responses and Scores

  1. Click Quiz Generator under Activities and Assignments on the main Faculty Tools page.
  2. Click the quiz title on the main Quiz Generator page.
  3. Click Responses and Grades in the main navigation bar at the top of the page.
  4. Click Excel File of All Student Responses and Scores in the Options section on the right side of the page.

In addition to responses and scores, the student Hopkins ID, department, and degree program or major are included in this data.
