The main Responses and Grades page in the Quiz Generator is your gateway to managing student grading and grades. It contains a lot of information about student activity and grades, along with tools for grading work.
How to Access the Main Responses and Grades Page
- Click Quiz Generator under Activities and Assignments on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the quiz title on the main Quiz Generator page.
- Click Responses and Grades in the main navigation bar at the top of the page.
What Do the Various Phrases Next to a Student's Name Mean?
Depending on the status of a student's attempt (or lack thereof) on a quiz, different words will appear next to the student's name in the main Responses and Grades list.
- Not Taken — The student has not started taking the quiz yet.
- In Progress — The student has started taking the quiz, but has not yet submitted their answers.
- Abandoned Attempt — The student started but never finished taking the quiz. Learn more about Abdandoned Attempts.
- Requires Manual Grading — One or more questions in the quiz require manual grading by someone on the course team.
- Numeric Score with Percent — Grading work on the student's responses in complete.
