Quiz Generator: Send an Email to Students Who Haven't Completed a Quiz

You have two options for sending an email to students who haven't completed a quiz:

1. Use the option in the quiz setup to send students who haven't completed the quiz an automated reminder to complete the quiz [n] days before the due date.
2. Use the Class Email tool to send a personalized message to students who haven't completed the quiz.

You cannot alter the automated message that is sent via the option in the quiz setup. If you want to send a more detailed or personalized message, you should use the class email tool.

How to Send an Email to Students Who Haven't Completed a Quiz Using the Class Email Tool

1. Click the Communication menu at the top of any page in your class site.
2. Click Class Email in the menu.
3. Click the Filters tab on the main Class Email page.
4. Select Quiz from the first dropdown menu.

5. Select the specific quiz from the second dropdown menu.
6. Select Did not complete this quiz from the third dropdown menu.
7. Click Select listed just above the list of names.
8. Enter a Subject for the message.
9. Compose your message.
10. Click Send Email.
