When you use Schedule Builder and Page Builder in your CoursePlus site, a visitor to your course home page will see a page of your own design. When a student or course team member visits your course home page, they will see a customized view with current course activities and the photos of course primary faculty — if provided.
Note: When a visitor to a course that does not use Schedule Builder and Page Builder tries to reach the course home page, they are automatically redirected to the course syllabus page.
How to Add Faculty Photos to the Course Home Page for Enrolled Students
- Click Page Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the Home Page tab at the top of the page.
- Click Edit next to Home Page Settings.
- Scroll down to the Faculty Images section.
- Click Browse... under New Faculty Image.
- Select the photo from your computer. Photos should be as square in shape as possible and no more than 400x400 pixels in size.
- Enter the faculty name in the Caption field.
- Click Add Faculty Image.
The faculty image and caption are immediately added to the display on the page.
How to Reorder the Display of Faculty Photos to the Course Home Page for Enrolled Students
- Click Page Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the Home Page tab at the top of the page.
- Click Edit next to Home Page Settings.
- Scroll down to the Faculty Images section.
- Find the photo you want to move.
- Click the up and down arrow buttons to move the image up or down the list.
Your changes are saved in real time as you work.
