Page Builder: Adding Content to the Public (Visitor's) View of the Course Home Page

When you use Schedule Builder and Page Builder in your CoursePlus site, a visitor to your course home page will see a page of your own design. When a student or course team member visits your course home page, they will see a customized view with current course activities and the photos of course primary faculty — if provided.

Note: When a visitor to a course that does not use Schedule Builder and Page Builder tries to reach the course home page, they are automatically redirected to the course syllabus page.

How to Update the Content on the Public (Visitor's) View of the Course Home Page

1. Click Page Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
2. Click the Home Page tab at the top of the page.
3. Click Edit next to Home Page Settings.
4. The content in the rich text editor below Visitors' view content will be displayed to visitors to the course home page.
5. Update the content in the Visitors' view content rich text editor.
6. Click Update to save your changes.
