While Page Builder page editing is close to what-you-see-is-what-you-get editing, some systemwide sections do not automatically render their content while you edit the page. If you want to see what a page will look like when students view it, with all linked content in systemwide sections fully rendered on screen, you need to preview (or view) the page.
How to Preview a Page as Students Will See It
- Click Page Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Make sure that the Pages tab is selected. It's selected by default.
- Find the page that you want to work on. Click the View button to the right of that page listing.
- The page preview will appear. This is how students will see the page.
- Click the browser’s back button to return to Page Builder.
When editing a page, you can also click View at the top of the page to preview the page in a new tab.
