Once you have reviewed student assessment reports, added any faculty/TA feedback, and verified individual student scores, you can send the results of the Peer Assessment to students.
How to Email Assessment Results to Students
- Wait until the Peer Assessment has closed. This functionality does not work before that time. There may also be a delay between when the assessment closes and when the emailing of results is available.
- Click Peer Assessments under Activities and Assignments on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Click the title of the Peer Assessment in the list of all assessments.
- This automatically brings up the Student Activity tab.
- To preview how emails will appear to students, click the Report button for any student.
- Click the topmost checkbox to select all students or click individual checkboxes to select the particular students whom you wish to send results to.
- Click Email Student Results.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click the checkbox if you want to CC yourself on student result email(s).
- Click Send Score Email(s).
Once results have been sent out to students, they can begin viewing their results on CoursePlus as well. The same Peer Assessment page that students used to complete their assessments becomes the page to view the results. The students can access this page from their individual email notifications, from the Schedule Builder item linked to the Peer Assessment, or from a Page Builder page that links to the assessment.
Note: Grades will not flow into the Gradebook for a Peer Assessment that is linked to the Gradebook until the Peer Assessment is closed and results have been emailed to students. You can change the Assessment due by date to the current date/time in the assessment settings so that grades start flowing into the Gradebook.
