Note: Follow the same steps to link to a quiz, survey, Peer Assessment, Drop Box, Signup Sheet, or any other tool in the Associate Event with field.
How to Link an Event to a LiveTalk (or Other Course Content)
- Click Schedule Builder on the main Faculty Tools page.
- Either click on the light blue bar for the appropriate event in the schedule or create a new event by clicking Add New Event.
- Select LiveTalk from the Associate Event with dropdown.
- Select the date on which you want the link to the LiveTalk page to become active in the Available On field.
- If applicable, enter the due date in the Due Date field.
- If you want to turn off the link to the LiveTalk page at some point, enter that date in the Access Ends field.
- Click Save.
Note: Adding a LiveTalk to the schedule automatically puts it on the main LiveTalk page in the course. Conversely, deleting or hiding a LiveTalk will remove it from this page.
